Our Purpose

“May you live in interesting times” says the Chinese proverb. Well, we most certainly live in interesting times. Both the private and public sector face unprecedented challenges as a result of some of the biggest corporate failures in history. We believe that a significant element in the failure of these organisations has been a shift in focus away from the customer towards a self-interested focus upon themselves and their own profits. Many seem to have forgotten that, without their customers, they would not have a business at all. We believe that a significant number of Law firms have also been guilty of this in recent years, with an increased emphasis on financial targets and time-based billing rather than a focus on customer service and value for money. In order to redress the balance, Eastons Private Client Solicitors works differently from most other firms, as outlined in our “Why Choose Us?” section. In doing this, we aim to provide a truly client centered approach to doing business, in fact and not just in words, and as judged by our clients and not just by us. We recognise that the areas of law we deal with are very sensitive in their nature and that our clients are often in the midst of very difficult and emotional circumstances. Our purpose, simply put, is to make your life easier.

We regard our clients as people, not transactions.We like to develop excellent relationships with our clients and get to know them in order that we can assist them throughout their lifetime. Unlike some other Will Writing companies, we do not wish to cultivate a high turnover of impersonal transactions and in the process simply become a “law factory” churning out a mass-produced legal product.
